ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL CITY ROAD BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 647) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas mains works to be executed on or near City Road, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of City Road from its junction with Thornton Road to its junction with Oakwood Court.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via City Road (unaffected section), Preston Street, Thornton Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 20th February 2017 and remains in force until 25th March 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 14th day of February 2017
