ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL ALBION ROAD IDLE BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 729) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas mains works proposed to be executed on or near Albion Road, Idle intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Albion Road from its junction with Leeds Road for approximately 50 metres in an easterly direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Albion Road (unaffected section), Leeds Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 21st August 2017 and remain in force until 16th September 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
