ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

ASHGROVE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 831) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Ashgrove, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Ashgrove from its junction with Great Horton Road to a point outside No. 2 Ashgrove.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Ashgrove (unaffected section), Easby Road, Laisteridge Lane, Great Horton Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 24th July 2018 and remain in force until 20:00 hours on 24th July 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 12th day of July 2018
