NOTICE OF MAKING ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BARLOW STREET, BOBBIN CLOSE, DALE STREET, GRIMSHAW STREET, LOWER ANTLEY STREET, WHEAT STREET, ACCRINGTON, HYNDBURN) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that on 09 January 2019 Lancashire County Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce restriction of waiting between 8am and 6pm on any day in the following lengths of roads:

a) Barlow Street, Accrington, the east side from the centre line of Blackburn Road for a distance of 14 metres in a southerly direction;

b) Barlow Street, Accrington, the east side from the centre line of Lower Antley Street for a distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction;

c) Barlow Street, Accrington, the west side for its entire length from Blackburn Road to Lower Antley Street;

d) Bobbin Close, Accrington, the east side from the centre line of Dale Street for a distance of 9 metres in a southerly direction;

e) Bobbin Close, Accrington, the west side from the centre line of Dale Street for a distance of 7 metres in a southerly direction;

f) Dale Street, Accrington, the north side from the centre line of Grimshaw Street for a distance of 8 metres in an easterly direction;

g) Dale Street, Accrington, the north side from the centre line of Wheat Street for a distance of 8 metres in a westerly direction;

h) Dale Street, Accrington, the south side from a point 22 metres east of the centre line of Wheat Street in a westerly direction to a point 9 metres west of the centre line of Bobbin Close;

i) Dale Street, Accrington, the south side from the centre line of Grimshaw Street for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction;

j)Grimshaw Street, Accrington, both sides from the centre line of Blackburn Road for a distance of 14 metres in a southerly direction;

k)Grimshaw Street, Accrington, both sides from the centre line of Lower Antley Street for a distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction;

I) Lower Antley Street, Accrington, the north-west side from its junction with Dale Street for a distance of 9 metres in a south-westerly direction;

m) Lower Antley Street, Accrington, the north-west side from the centre line of Barlow Street for a distance of 14 metres in a north-easterly direction;

n) Lower Antley Street, Accrington, the south-west side from the centre line of Grimshaw Street for a distance of 49 metres in a south-westerly direction;

o) Wheat Street, Accrington, both sides from the centre line of Blackburn Road for a distance of 14 metres in a south-easterly direction;

p) Wheat Street, Accrington, Wheat Street, Accrington, both sides from the centre line of Dale Street for a distance of 8 metres in a north-westerly direction.

This Order will come into force on the 14 January 2019. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Hyndburn Borough Council, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street, Accrington, Lancashire, BB5 0PF, and at the offices of The Director of Corporate Services, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, PO Box 78, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Council's website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx, quoting ref: LSG4/894.5754/AFR.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
