THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(GRIMEFORD LANE, ANDERTON, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH

TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by the Lancashire County Council on 31st day of March 2019, under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over the following lengths of road will now be In operation as per the schedule below.

The prohibition will be operative from 0930 hours on Thursday 11th April 2019 until 1700 hours on Thursday 16th May 2019 or until completion of the works within this period. Access will be maintained for pedestrians.

An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:-Blackrod Bypass Road - Railway Road - Bolton Road - Chorley New Road - De Havilland Way

The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow water utility works to be carried out.
