A CARE group has launched groundbreaking moves to tackle stress in the workplace.
Czajka has become one of the first care operators in the UK to incorporate dedicated ‘stress busting’ training into the induction programme for new employees.
Following a successful pilot, the scheme is being extended to all staff across its homes, including Currergate at Steeton and Beanlands, Cross Hills.
The training is provided by My Wellbeing College, part of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Konrad Czajka, managing director of Czajka Care Group, said: “Stress is a major health hazard in any workplace.
“We work hard to create a relaxed and calm atmosphere throughout our homes, but it’s always good to take a proactive rather than a reactive approach.
“That is why we have opened up the training to all our frontline nursing team, our catering staff, maintenance personnel and management teams.”
