LOCATION Private setting within the village just a few steps from the sea shore. The village of Port Carlisle, originally known as Fishers Cross, was developed as a port in 1819 to handle goods for Carlisle using the canal link built in 1823. Just a mile away the village of Bowness on Solway is where Hadrian's Wall ends (or starts!). Here you will find a primary school, a good pub serving food and a cafe. The Solway area is well known for its prolific bird life including migrating birds. The sand dunes, salt marsh, shingle beds, and peat mosses make it a favourite spot with a number of species. It is a mecca for bird watchers and popular with walkers and cyclist. Nearby Burgh by Sands has a pub and the market town of Wigton has a strong performing secondary school (Nelson Thomlinson) and other shops and services. The regional centre Carlisle provides an excellent range of social, leisure and retail opportunities. The mainline station serves London and many other centres. The M6 is readily accessible via the northern city bypass.

DESCRIPTION Foxley is a well balanced bungalow providing good 4 bed accommodation set within pleasant private gardens. The living space is at the rear enjoying an aspect to the south and west. The spacious sitting room features a stone chimney breast housing a wood burning stove for cosy nights in. French doors open out onto a patio and the garden. The dining area is next to the modern fitted kitchen which benefits from sleek granite worktops. The conservatory has a tiled floor and provides a private and peaceful spot to relax in. The main bedroom has a modern ensuite shower room with a window. The house bathroom has a freestanding roll top bath and wall hung wash basin.

OUTSIDE Pleasant gardens with front parking and garage. Delightful private rear garden with patio. Greenhouse with established grape vine. Garden shed.
