If you're thinking Beauty and the Beast is not the most traditional of pantos then rest assured, all the elements are there.
The tale tells of a selfish prince who is cursed and turned into a beast until he can learn to love and to be loved.
Add to the mix a brilliant comic duo, a likeable principal boy and girl and a full-of-his-own-importance villain, then you know you're in for an entertaining time.
The show belongs to Neil Hurst as Willy Do-it, back by popular demand and you can see why: Willy's mother Dame Dorothy Do-it took a little while to warm to, until the comic routines got into full flow.
With fantastic sets and some of the best costumes I have seen in a panto, amazing special effects and great cast, Beauty and the Beast is a must-see show.
