KEIGHLEY goth rock legends Skeletal Family have put together a revamped line-up for their latest live appearance in the town.

Skeletal Family musician Trotwood is currently mixing rehearsals with his day job as guitar technician for singer Paul Weller, this month busy in the studio.

Trotwood said: “Last year after a successful North American tour, Skeletal Family left the US with promises of more dates and album deals in the offering.”

He said singer Anne Marie began working on a project with Andy Cousins of All About Eve, so he and fellow Skeletal Family founder Stan Greenwood decided to gather a new line-up including former member Karl Heinz.

The musicians began working with Jayne Tretton, the Keighley singer who back in the 1970s performed with them in Skeletals’ forerunners Elements, before going on to front Rodeo Jones for leading label A&M Records.

When the Exchange Arts Centre in Russell Street, Keighley, offered a gig on Friday October 11 as part of this month’s Keighley Arts and Film Festival, Trotwood and Stan decided on a double-header.

Trotwood said of the gig: “The Elements will play their 1980 album in full, and Skeletal Family will unveil their new line up.”
