SCOTTISH rockers Gun will take a break from their usual arena gigs to play an “up close and personal” concert in Keighley.

Studio 5 Live on Dalton Lane is one of three intimate venues chosen by the band for its mini-tour in spring. Studio 5, at the Jam on Top music studios, expects an early sell out for the April 4 show, which begins at 7.30pm.

The gig has been organised through local promoters BAC2LIVE ive who regularly host concerts at the Keighley venue.

Spokesman Steve Waite said: “This is a big coup for both BAC2LIVE and Studio 5 Live, hopefully helping to raise the profile of the venue.”

BAC2LIVE has arranged several gigs for early 2020 at Studio 5 Live, including the return to Keighley of young blues queen Chantel McGregor on March 24.

The season kicks off on January 18 with Irish trio Crow Black playing brand of Celtic Rock. Ruf Records will send Blues Caravan 2020 to the venue on April 24, packaging three American artists, Jeremiah Johnson, Whitney Shay and Ryan Perry.

Connor Selby and his band will play on May 15, fresh from supporting The Who in arenas around the world.
