Marti Pellow stars as devilish Daryl Van Horne in this musical of the 1987 film which starred Jack Nicholson.
Marti borrows mannerisms and quirks from Jack and some of the wonderful one-liners which made the film so memorable.
Yet Marti puts enough of himself into the role to make it his own while satisfying his Wet Wet Wet fan.
Set in small-town America the musical is based around three desperate housewives who wish for the ideal man who appears in the form of Daryl.
All three lead females are excellent, Ria Jones, Rebecca Thornhill and Poppy Tierney singing Make Him Mine a highlight of the first half.
Other memorable songs involved the strong ensemble who were fantastic.
Judging by the huge audience you may have to sell your soul to the Devil to get a ticket but it may be worth it.
