The cast really gave the show 100 per cent even though the Halifax theatre was only half full.
This show deserves a bigger audience but it didn’t affect the performance and the cast got a well-deserved standing ovation.
Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph and his 11 brothers were a superb cast including Joseph (Craig Chalmers) who was smooth, solid and dependable.
Also unforgettable were Narrator (Rachel Louise Miller) with a powerful yet silky singing voice that made you melt, Pharaoh (Wayne Smith) who lifted the second half immensely with an almost perfect Elvis impersonation, and Jacob (Henry Metcalfe) who was warm with tremendous stage presence.
The brothers were cast well and performed as a fantastic ensemble, and the dancers never put a foot wrong.
Everyone, right down to the orchestra and lighting crew, deserve a pat on the back for a polished and hugely enjoyable show.
