FRESH Thursdays are bringing a host of bands to the Exchange Arts Centre in Keighley.

The latest Fresh Thursday is on March 8 when Black Surf will return to play music for fans of Weezer, Ash and Pixies, and local popsters Flea Market also play.

March 15 will see Joe Tilston performing folky-flavoured acoustic music with a fresh twist of energy, supported by veteran folk artists Lynda Hardcastle and Alan Rose with a traditional and contemporary material.

Clouded Lights come over from Cleckheaton to play moody indie rock on March 22, supported by Keighley’s own “one-man supergroup” Daniel Mark Aspinall, with his wide shoulder swagger.

Fresh Thursdays continue on March 29, with Stockholm musician Jennie Stabis performing Baroque psych pop and Robin Shepherd performing acid/indie folk.

Friday, March 9 will see tribute band ‘Appy Mondays, and the following day sees The Band From County Hell performing Indie Celt folk rock drinking music, supported by Howlin’ Johnny And The Devils Rejects and Phil Cudworth. Stig Of The Dub presents Digital Foundation on March 16, featuring Ring The Alarm Sound, Parly B and Dublaw ft Mr Gunning.

The Smiths United perform their tribute act on March 17.
