A CHARITY that runs a bus to the Dales is hoping a rock, pop and folk concert on Saturday, February 3 will beat the £700 raised at its 2017 gig.
The venue will be Cooper’s Bar in Guiseley and will feature the Hall Brothers supported by John Carey, Rum Doodle, and Otley-based duo Keeper’s Wood who were formerly part of the Irish rock folk group Reel Jiggy.
Tickets cost £8, and are available from event host and organiser Muppett via muppett@cnet.org.uk.
The Friends of DalesBus is a voluntary organisation campaigning for accessible and affordable public transport for visitors and residents in the Yorkshire Dales. It celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2016.
The Friends of DalesBus also organise a programme of free guided walks across the Dales, so that buses and trains in the area are well used.
