Silsden Town Council is objecting to proposals to build a wind turbine at a local farm.
Councillors this month voted against plans for a single micro-scale turbine at Black Pots Farm on Light Bank.
Members felt that the turbine would be too near a bridleway and historic landmarks such as the cup and ring stones. They have asked for a geological survey of the area, which is on Rombalds Moor near Doubler Stones.
A decision whether or not to approve the application is due to be made by Bradford Council planners.
