Courses are to be held at Keighley community centres for people hoping to work in local schools.

Supporting Teaching and Learning sessions will be held at various locations during the next school year.

Level 2 courses will also involve students spending 100 hours – half-a-day each week – working in a Keighley primary school.

Level 3 courses will involve a 200-hour placement during the year, and CRB checks are needed for both levels.

Students aged over 24 may qualify for a loan, and people receiving some benefits may not have to pay a fee.

Anyone interested in the courses, which are run by Craven College, should contact Andrea Astin on 07702 899602.
