POLICE have today issued an e-fit of a man they are hunting in connection with a sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl in Keighley.
The girl was walking along Halifax Road at about 3am on New Year's Day when a car pulled up.
She got into the vehicle, believing it was a taxi, and asked to be dropped off at the Great Northern pub a short distance away.
But the driver continued past and stopped at a grass banking, opposite Damems Road.
He then grabbed at the girl over her clothing, but she managed to flee and ran back towards the pub.
The vehicle drove off towards Cross Roads.
The assailant is described as Asian, aged between 40 and 50, about 5ft 11ins tall, clean shaven, of medium build and with very short hair, possibly almost bald.
Detective Inspector Ian Bryar, of Bradford District CID, said: "We would urge anyone who recognises this man to contact Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111."
