MARCO Mendoza of The Dead Daisies is returning to the UK with a tour arriving in Keighley on May 5.

Marco, continuing his critically-acclaimed solo project, will be at the Exchange Arts Centre in Russell Street.

Marco is probably mostly known for his work with a number of rock bands and artists.

These include Thin Lizzy, Blue Murder, Whitesnake, Ted Nugent, Neal Schon and Soul SirkUS, Lynch Mob, and Dolores O’Riordan from the Cranberries.

His line-up for the current tour will consist of long-time drummer Pino Liberti and guitarist Fabio Cerrone, who has performed with Eric Martin, Joe Lynn Turner and Blaze Bayley.

Marco lives in Los Angeles and when he´s not touring he can often be found playing local jazz clubs with Joey Heredia and Renato Neto.

Marco will ‘Meet & Greet’ with fans after the Keighley show.

The tour support is Beth Blade And The Beautiful Disasters, a melodic hard rock band from Cardiff.

Fronted by Beth Blade, the four piece provide monster riffs, huge choruses and a dose of old school rock and roll attitude.

A spokesman said: “With aggressive muscle and melodic sensitivity this up and coming band will blow you away.”

The Exchange Arts Centre will host a gig by Ed Stones And The BD3 along with Greenwell’s Moodhook on Friday April 8.

Expect cowboy rock ‘n’ roll as Ed, the Aire Valley’s own Johnny Cash, provides ramshackle rollercoaster rockabilly. Moodhook will play original bluesy classic rock.

Tribute band The Jam Movement will return on Saturday April 9, with the band Vendettas. Uncle Frank will perform rock, pop and funky covers on April 16.

Six bands will battle it out for places on Bingley Music Live stages during the first Emerging Talent night on April 21. Future heats are on May 3, 11 and 17.

War Ensemble, the UK Slayer tribute band, will perform with Gods Of Hellfire and Pulverise on April 22. Fans are promised all the energy and aggression of the Californian metal juggernaut Slayer.

The Smiths UTD pay homage to the classic four-piece Smiths line-up on April 30
