BRADFORD Council’s guided walks continue throughout September with treks in Bingley, East Morton, Saltaire, Riddlesden, Malham and Wharfedale.

Transfield Top is the location of a five-mile circular walk on Wednesday, September 6, beginning from Bingley Market Square at 10.30am.

Mills A’ Plenty are an offer as Gillian Dale leads walkers on an exploration of the sites of old mills in Sunnydale. Meet at East Morton bus terminus on

Wednesday, September 13 at 11am.

The Friends of Bracken Hall will lead a nine-mile circular walk of September 15, starting from Bracken Hall at Shipley and heading off to visit Cliffe Castle in Keighley.

The walk will take in woods, canal bank, footbridges, a plantation, a hamlet, historic houses and footpaths.

The Scar is a 10-mile circular walk, led by Ken Allen senior, setting off at 11am from Post Office on September 17, and taking moorland paths past caves and rock formations.
