A KEIGHLEY councillor has had a close shave with residents in Braithwaite.
Cllr Adrian Farley teamed up with householders and local organisations to help clean up the North Dean Avenue and North Dean Road areas.
They carried out extensive strimming and cutting-back of overgrown vegetation, particularly on land owned by housing developer Barratts and social landlord Incommunities.
Reporting to Keighley Area Committee, a Bradford Council spokesman said: “The owners have committed to long-term maintenance which should permanently improve the appearance of the area.”
