A STALWART of West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is celebrating a milestone.
Liz Wood has clocked-up 30 years with the organisation.
She joined as an accounts assistant and has worked in every department.
Her current role is head of membership and recently she has been involved in mentoring new recruits and apprentices.
Tribute is paid by chamber chief executive Sandy Needham, who herself has served two decades with the organisation.
"Liz is a valued colleague and we're proud to have her on the team," she said.
"Over the last 30 years she has worked in different areas of the business, took time out to have children, returned and developed new skills.
"Importantly, Liz is very customer focused and always aims to provide whatever members need."
Human resources manager, Natasha Hudson, added: "Celebrating colleagues like Liz highlights the enviable culture created at the chamber, allowing colleagues to develop and flourish.
"It is something in which we take enormous pride.
"We currently have 16 colleagues with five years or more service, totalling an impressive 282 years between them!
"The solid knowledge base that long-serving colleagues like Liz provide is an invaluable support system and is crucial to the continued success of our apprenticeship programme."
