Police alerted to suspected thieves in Riddlesden early this morning
TEENAGERS alleged to be trying to break into cars in Riddlesden in the early hours of this morning (Feb 12) have been detained by police.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said officers were alerted to the suspicious behaviour in Scott Lane West, Keighley.
He said: "Police attended after three people were reported to be trying car door handles.
"Two males aged 15 and 16 and a 14-year-old female were arrested after a short foot chase, and some property which was believed to have been stolen was recovered."
The three have now been released, pending further police investigations.
