A DANCE Explosion is promised for anyone watching this year’s presentation by the Elizabeth Phillips School of Dance.
Pupils from the Silsden school will again take to the stage at Glusburn Institute, on March 23 and 24 at 7pm, for their annual show.
Elizabeth said: “In the first half of our show, the pupils will perform the story of Pinocchio the puppet who ends up in a puppet theatre, escapes to Pleasure Island, almost turns into a donkey but escapes with help of the mermaids and is turned into a real boy.
“Rachel Smithies plays the part of Pinocchio and the senior students will be playing Geppetto, Honest John the Fox, Gideon the Cat, the Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, Strombella, Lampwick and Stopwatch.
“The second half of the show, Days Like These, takes us from early morning to late in the evening with music new and old.”
