LATE entries are open for a Solstice Saunter being staged in support of Manorlands.
The event, organised by the Airedale Dodgers running club, takes place at the Bolton Abbey estate on the summer solstice – Thursday, June 21.
The five-mile trail run, sponsored by Skipton-based JB Springs, starts at 7.30pm.
All finishers will receive a jammy dodger in tribute to the organisers, a bottle of bespoke Solstice Saunter beer produced by Bridgehouse Brewery and a medal, which Manorlands senior fundraiser Hayley Ibbotson is pictured displaying.
There is free parking and all-day admission to the estate for participants.
The event, which has been a sell-out in previous years, sees runners head from the Cavendish Pavilion to Barden Bridge and then back on the other side of the river. It is suitable for all abilities.
Andrew Wood, community fundraising manager at the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, said: “The Airedale Dodgers are always so well organised and make this a fantastic evening.
“It’s not like a normal race – everyone goes at their own pace and enjoys the views and atmosphere.
“We are delighted to have the support of JB Springs to help the Solstice Saunter maximise its fundraising potential.
“Anyone who wants to take part should enter soon, in case it sells out, on sueryder.org/solsticesaunter.”
