LAND art produced by a Keighley-area team is in the running for a coveted award.

Fields of Vision – comprising Worth Valley Young Farmers Club and David Burlison, of Lawn Order – was commissioned to produce seven pieces across the region to celebrate the Tour de Yorkshire.

Now one of those creations has been shortlisted for the top accolade in the Tour land art competition.

And the public is being urged to vote online.

The piece – Revenge is a dish best served cold – was installed over four days at Middleham Gallops, in North Yorkshire.

Andrew Wood – for Fields of Vision, which won last year’s contest with Branwell and the Bicycle, created with Haworth Primary School – said the team’s latest work was its biggest project to date.

“It was commissioned by the racehorse trainers and people of Middleham and was inspired by the thought of King Richard III returning to his home town after being dug up from a Leicester car park,” he added.
