TEN jobs have been created following the opening of a Screwfix store at Crossflatts.
The premises, on the Castlefields Trading Estate, take the company's nationwide network of stores to more than 580.
The site will be open seven days a week and includes a 'click and collect' service.
Sam Crossley, store manager, said: "We chose to open the new branch to better meet the needs of local tradespeople.
"Many of our customers previously shopped at our Keighley and Shipley stores, so we're delighted to bring Screwfix even closer to them for greater convenience.
"We held an opening celebration period over several days, which attracted hundreds of people.
"We've received fantastic support from the local community."
The company is also inviting registered charities to apply for funding from its foundation.
Grants are made available to support community projects.
