LOS ANGELES band The Regrettes are on the line-up for Leeds Festival on August 25.

They will bring to the UK their riotous mix of pure punk energy, rambunctious rock ‘n’ roll and wide-reaching lyrical positivity.

They recently played a tour that included The Great Escape and the Dot To Dot festivals.

The Regrettes are fronted by 17-year-old singer and guitarist Lydia Night who is joined by Genessa Gariano and Sage Chavis.

They made an immediate impression on the Los Angeles music scene with their infectious – and unapologetically honest – punk-driven pop songs.

The Regrettes have also toured extensively since forming in 2015, including shows with Sleigh Bells, Peaches, Cherry Glazerr, The Frights, SWMRS and most recently, Cold War Kids.

Lydia said: “I am not scared of anyone judging me, I don’t care if someone doesn’t like what I have to say. For every person that likes you, there’s a person that doesn’t like you.

“No matter what, if people can relate to the music then it’s worth it. That’s what is cool for me.”
