THE AUTUMN season at Bradford Theatres boasts brand new productions, reimagined classics and timeless favourites.

Comedy, entertainment and drama are also promised at the Alhambra Theatre, the Alhambra Studio, Bradford Cathedral, and the King’s Hall in Ilkley.

Bradford Theatres general manager Adam Renton said there was something for everyone to enjoy before the end of the year.

He said: “We welcome a number of brand new productions which will be touring into the Alhambra Theatre this autumn, including Benidorm Live, Madagascar The Musical and Touring Consortium Theatre Company’s drama, Dracula.

“Don’t miss your opportunity to book for Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed new production of Miss Saigon; or for a return visit of Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, which has a fresh look for the 21st century.

“Yorkshire’s biggest and most lavish pantomime, Aladdin, is a must-see treat this festive season too!

“We also have an array of personalities at King’s Hall in Ilkley, including Jimmy Osmond, Suggs and Susie Dent.”

This week at Bradford Alhambra sees An Officer And A Gentleman, until Saturday, a musical version of the famous 1980s film.

Darkside will perform their Pink Floyd show entitled You Gotta Be Crazy on Saturday, September 8 at King’s Hall.

Navi, hailed as the world’s number one Michael Jackson tribute artist, performs his show King of Pop at the Alhambra on November 15.

Tour de Ned features ITV cycling commentator Ned Boulting on November 6 at King’s Hall.Mega-musical Miss Saigon returns to the Alhambra from September 19 to October 20 with a new production of the tragic love story set in Vietnam.

The Chicago Blues Brothers will present Motown Mission at the Alhambra on November 16.

Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake will return from November 6 to 10 in a reimagined production that retains the iconic elements of the original production seen by millions around the world.

Madagascar The Musical will run from October 23 to 27 at the Alhambra, bringing to life the animated adventures of wisecracking lion Alex and his pals as they escape the zoo.
