A KEIGHLEY-based manufacturing firm which was first established 30 years ago has revealed a “brand” new identity for the company.

Advanced Couplings, in Royd Ings Avenue, specialises in making stainless steel clamp-type tube connections.

The business has unveiled a new logo which is designed to represent the transformation the company has undergone since it was founded three decades ago.

Company spokesman Victoria Henry said: “The launch of our new logo and branding is designed to mark the start of a new era at Advanced Couplings.

“We feel that it better reflects who we are as a company, at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry.

“We have come a very long way over the past 30 years, and are incredibly proud of our history of working in Keighley, designing high quality innovative products, specially developed to meet the unique requirements of our customers.”

The business’s products are developed to be used in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical and processing industries.

These items are now sold worldwide and Ms Henry said she and her colleagues are pleased with how they they have managed to evolve to meet the “ever-changing” requirements of the industries they work with.

She added “The hygienic demands placed on the pharmaceutical and process industries can change rapidly, and as a result we have to constantly focus our research and development programme in order to meet these demands.

“Our highly-skilled team are all incredibly dedicated, and I know that our excellent reputation is a source of great pride to them.

“We are delighted with our new logo and branding and feel that its launch marks the start of many more years of success for us.”

The firm was originally founded in 1988 by John J Henry, who was associated with the engineering, clamping and pipe joint industry for over 40 years.

Advanced Couplings has a purpose-built factory in Roscommon, Ireland and its products are stocked and distributed across the globe by a team of agents.

It also has a division in Denmark, in the city of Viborg, which has been running since 2016.

This branch serves the company’s Danish customers and looks after its clients from across Scandinavia and North Eastern Europe.

In 2016 the firm expanded and modernised its local operations by buying a 28,000 square foot base at Keighley’s Riverside Business Park.

And it invested £50,000 in a state-of-the-art coordinate measurement machine to ensure the accuracy of its component designs.
