A KEIGHLEY man was among three men who appeared before a judge at Bradford Crown Court accused of conspiracy to murder.
Usman Nawaz, Mohammed Yasin and Hasanain Murtaza, all pleaded not guilty to the charges which date back to a five-day period in August 2017.
The three are charged with conspiring to murder Rohid Ali between August 12 and 16, 2017.
Nawaz, 23, of Oak Lane, Manningham, and Yasin, 24, of Braithwaite Avenue, Keighley, appeared in custody, while Murtaza, 23, of Highfield Drive, Heaton, was on bail.
Prosecutor Jonathan Sharpe told the court the incident related to a feud. An application was made to extend the standard custody time limit to allow two of the defendants to be represented by their selected senior barristers.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC, agreed, and the trial date was pushed back from early next year.
A trial date was then set for May 29, 2019, and the trial is expected to last around 10 days in total.
