RESURFACING work is to be carried out on a busy Keighley main road.
Bradford Council says the “essential” work is planned in East Parade and Bradford Road, between the junctions with Coney Lane and Dalton Lane.
The scheme will be split into two sections.
Work between Cavendish Street and Dalton Lane will take place on Fridays, starting this week and continuing on October 12 and 19, between 7pm and 7am.
The stretch between Cavendish Street and Coney Lane will be repaired on Sundays, beginning this weekend and then on October 14 and 21, between 7.30am and 7pm.
A road closure will be in place during the work and diversions will operate.
The council warns that although the project is scheduled for when the road is at its quietest, disruption is expected and it asks motorists to find alternative routes where possible.
A spokesman said: “We apologise for any delays these essential works may cause.
“We have done everything we can to minimise disruption.”
