SILSDEN is to hold its first large public firework display for several years, on Sunday, November 4.
The Hive community centre in Elliott Street will host the event, in conjunction with Silsden Gala Committee and with sponsorship from Silsden Town Council.
There will be family entertainment, music, hot food, a bar and an organised firework display.
Tickets from Twiggs newsagents or at thehivesilsden.co.uk/shop, costing £3 each or £10 for a family of four. Under fives free. Tickets at the gate will be £5 and £15 respectively.
Gala committee spokesman Duncan Turner said: “The Hive has worked extremely hard to bring this spectacular event to Silsden and with the help of the Gala Committee it is hoped to grow the event in future years.”
