TWISTED Wheel have announced a tour with the same name as their number one hit EP Jonny Guitar.

Hot on the heels of their support slots with Liam Gallagher, the band will play Leeds Wardrobe on October 26.

Jonny Guitar was created 1990s-style on a shoestring in Manchester and is described as a “work of art, sweat and guts as well as cunning charm offensive”. The show will include favourites from previous albums, songs from the new EP, and possibly a couple from the new album.

A spokesman said: “With a multitude of subtle influences for the more precise, Twisted Wheel’s real strength is in their ability to pound out genuine songs that activate your gut and your memory and swell audience’s hearts, the backbone of rock ‘n’ roll.

“The last tour was made was sold-out, stage-diving, sweaty affairs of an ecstasy and euphoria long gone from live music venues.”
