ILKLEY Soroptimists held an extremely enjoyable Curry and Quiz night at the Kashmiri Aroma in Ilkley.
The event raised £450 in aid of this year’s charity, The Samaritans.
The Bradford branch alone has to raise £40,000 each year. Its aim being to reduce suicide rates of whom 75 percent are men, suicide being the biggest cause of death in men under 45.
Mrs Joy Lynch the Ilkley Soroptimist President particularly thanked the quizmaster David Briggs and prizes donated locally by The Co op, Tesco, Santander Bank, Allwyn Carr Interior Designs, Hollins Hall and the Kashmiri Aroma.
