SPOOKY fun is coming to Keighley town centre next Saturday (Oct 27).

‘Creepy Keighley’ activities are being staged, courtesy of the town’s Business Improvement District (BID).

A bushtucker cafe is being set-up in the Airedale Shopping Centre, where visitors will be able to sample some jungle ‘treats’.

Bruce Airhead will entertain crowds with a giant balloon escape, Madame Zucchini will provide Hallowe’en-themed vegetable model making and a giant Frankenstein will be strutting around.

The popular shopping-trolley-riding Granny Turismo is making a return.

And there’ll be free face painting and balloon modelling, plus giveaways.

Paul Howard, Keighley BID manager, said: “Hallowe’en is a great time of year for families to get together and enjoy some of the entertainment we have to offer.

“We’ve had some fantastic events this year and it’s nice to finish off with some of the biggest and best, including our Christmas lights switch-on which will take place next month.”
