LEAGUE leaders Silsden Whitestar cruised to a 4-0 victory against FC Sporting Keighley at Marley on Saturday.

Sam Stansfield banged in two goals for the Silsden side, who were on top early and led 3-0 at half-time.

Oliver Peacock and Daniel McNulty also scored for Silsden Whitestar, who have won seven matches and drawn two to lead the Premier Division by two points over second place Settle United, who have two games in hand.

James Hitch was man of the match for Silsden Whitestar and Simeon Brown was man of the match for the Keighley side, who have two wins in nine matches.

A six-goal haul by Jake Bancroft led third place Trawden Celtic Juniors to an impressive 9-2 win against fourth place Carleton Sports Club.

Fred Midgley and Rob Wardley scored the goals for Carleton.

A hat-trick by Luke Barker led Cowling to their first victory of the season, a 3-2 win at home against bottom of the division Broomhill.

In Division One, Settle United Reserves earned a point against leaders Crosshills with a 2-2 draw at Sutton Playing Fields.

Man of the match Samuel Arrow-Smith and Mark Loughlin scored for Settle and Mark Hoban and substitute Will Lockyer got the goals for Crosshills, who lead the division by eight points.

Two other teams in the division, Bingley Town and Trawden Celtic Reserves, played in the Division One Cup on Saturday, with Town winning notching up an 6-2 win.

In the Division Two Cup, Grassington United Reserves beat Cowling Reserves 4-2 behind a brace by man of the match David Greenwood, and goals by Declan Hawkins and Ian Piper. Joshua Wood and Joao Pedro Lage scored for Cowling.

In Division Two action, braces by man of the match Matthew Nutter and Cameron Thornber helped Earby Town to a convincing 6-1 win against Bingley Town Reserves and Earby Recreation Ground.

A hat-trick by Steven Hunt lifted Addingham to a 5-2 home win against Broomhill Reserves. Dominic Green and Lee Walker also scored goals for Addingham.

In Division Three, visitors Cononley Sports Club Reserves denied Sutton their second win of the season with a 3-2 win at South Craven School.

Man of the match Daniel Leeming, Josh Pendle and substitute Henry Day scored for Cononley while Terence Hargreaves and James McDonald got the goals for Sutton.

Otley Town beat Crosshills Reserves 3-2. Liam Daffern and Sam Maude scored for the South Craven side.

Barrowford side iPlay FC cruised to 12-0 at home to FC Sporting Keighley Reserves.
