US SINGER/songwriters Matt Brown and Ryan Root will perform at the Old White Lion Hotel in Haworth on November 1.
The Nashville-based musicians are playing the fundraising event organised by Haworth Village Trust as part of a short UK tour.
They follow in the footsteps of Paul Pfau from Nashville and New Yorker Todd Carey who both recently performed in Haworth to a great reception.
Matt said he and Ryan were “throwing light packs on our backs with travel guitars to play songs we have written together”.
Event organiser Sarah Granby said: “Paul and Todd were the first of a bunch of musical performers my husband and I met on holiday, who subsequently came to Haworth, and word has got back to the others that it’s a great place to visit and perform.
“There are more waiting in the wings to come over in the future.”
Clips of Matt and Ryan, who also perform together as Union Hotel, can be found on YouTube. Some of the videos will be put on the event’s Facebook page.
The gig will be at the Old White Lion Hotel, Main Street, Haworth, at 7.30pm and will be followed by a music quiz and a raffle.
Tickets cost £5 and are available from the Contact Point on Changegate, Haworth.
Alternatively they can be bought on the door.
