COMPANIES are being urged to act quickly to secure a place at a top district event.

Tickets are selling fast for the Bradford Chamber of Commerce annual dinner.

Around 250 business leaders, civic dignitaries and other guests are expected to attend the event, at the Midland Hotel in Bradford on Thursday, November 22.

Keynote speaker will be the writer, broadcaster and former MP Gyles Brandreth.

And chamber president Nick Garthwaite will review his first year in office.

Mike Cartwright, of the chamber's policy team, said: "We’re looking forward to another evening of good company and entertainment.

"Nick’s had a busy year – with uncertainty in the economy, Brexit, Bradford Manufacturing Week and lots to lobby on such as transport, skills and property and planning issues – so his review will be interesting.

"Gyles has been entertaining audiences live and on TV and radio for years, so we’re guaranteed some laughs there."

Tickets, priced £90 for members and £108 for non-members, can be obtained by calling 01274 206660 or e-mailing events@wnychamber.co.uk.

The dinner is being sponsored by Business Enterprise Fund, Christeyns, Leeds Bradford Airport, Sovereign Healthcare and TL Dallas.
