TWO people were taken to hospital because of a kitchen fire at a house in Steeton.
A woman and child suffered from smoke inhalation in the incident at a house in Thornhill Road last night. (Oct 31)
The fire was confined to the kitchen and had been put out by a neighbour by the time fire crews arrived. A working smoke alarm alerted the householders.
A cat which was in the kitchen was given oxygen by firefighters and taken to a vet. The fire crews from Keighley and Silsden stations attended.
