A REMEMBRANCE display has been created outside Lees Primary School as part of a First World War project.
All 210 pupils at the school, from reception to age 11, have been involved.
They have learned about different aspects of the Great War.
And at the end of last term, each pupil decorated a poppy to form part of the poignant display, which also features a silhouetted figure of a soldier.
A school spokesman said: "The children have thoroughly enjoyed the project, which has been literary and art-based.
"Everybody was involved and contributed to the display, which has attracted a lot of positive comments from passers by."
