A PENSIONER reported lost on the Haworth Moors last night has been found safe and well.

Keighley Police reported just after noon that 70-year-old Steven Wright had been found, and was receiving medical attention to ensure he was all right.

A search operation was mounted last night after Mr Wright contacted his wife to say he had lost his way while walking from Stanbury.

Police had appealed for the public’s help in reporting any sightings the man, after a concern for safety report was made to the police at 5.42pm yesterday afternoon.

He had been described as white, 6ft 2ins tall, of slim build with white hair and white beard. He was wearing denim jeans, a scarlet red jacket, a blue fleece, a black beanie hat, Merril trainers and a black bumbag.
