HOUSING staff raised £354.04 Keighley and Airedale Cancer Support with a bun sale.

The Equalities Group at social landlord Incommunities showed off their baking skills by making buns, sponges and flavoured cakes which then went on sale to colleagues.

Staff at the housing group, which manages thousands of former council houses in Keighley, Shipley and Bradford, just the charity through an online vote.

Geraldine Howley, the Incommunities Group chief executive, said: “It was a real team effort to raise such a tidy sum in just one day. A big well done to our ‘star bakers’ and colleagues who snapped up their tasty bakes in return for a small donation.”

Rachael Moorhouse, from Keighley and Airedale Cancer Support said: “We are overwhelmed by the fantastic efforts of Incommunities and highly delighted they have chosen to support a local charity so dear to the hearts of many.
