PUBLIC fireworks displays lit up the sky around South Craven on bonfire night, including this annual display at Steeton Cricket Club.
The Hive, the youth and community centre in Silsden, hosted its first-ever fireworks night.
Hive co-director Jill Cook said: “It was an overwhelming successful evening with all tickets selling out on the Friday before.
“We had some small rides for the little ones, face-painting and glitter tattoos, fire pits and a spectacular firework display from Optimum Fireworks.
“The feedback has been amazing on Facebook and we will be back next year. Any money made goes back into the pot for next year’s event.”
Jill wanted to thank volunteers at The Hive and the Silsden Gala Committee for the help before, during and after the event.
