A TEACHING assistant from Keighley has made a short documentary about the history of the town’s war memorial.
Scott Coulthard, 26, produced the three-minute documentary just in time for the centenary of the end of the First World War. He explained: “I managed to get local historian Ian Dewhirst to help me out with the narrating and researching.
“I think it’s a truly heartwarming video with lots of little interesting facts about the memorial and I’m over the moon with Ian’s narration.”
Commenting shortly after he released the video last Wednesday afternoon (Nov 7) he added: “It’s received fantastic feedback from locals and even from somebody as far away as Tasmania!”
