AN annual coffee day has served-up another donation for Manorlands.

The event, at the Haworth home of Kath Neal, raised £3,933.

As well as coffee, there were cakes and other refreshments, a raffle, tombola, games and bric-a-brac.

And pony rides were on offer to younger visitors.

Kath said: “I’d like to thank everyone who gave-up their time to help, bake, donate items or come along on the day – it all helps to make this contribution to Manorlands possible.

“We continue to be so grateful for people’s generosity. It really is very much appreciated and helps the day to be a success.”

Since the coffee day was first held more than 25 years ago, it has now coined-in over £50,000 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.

Tribute is paid by Manorlands senior community fundraiser, Hayley Ibbotson.

“Many people rightly look forward to Kath’s coffee day each year and she and her family should be incredibly proud of their achievements,” she said.

“Manorlands is very lucky to receive support from people like Kath, as it enables us to continue to be there, caring for patients and families when it matters the most.”
