EAST RIDDLESDEN Hall is selling Christmas trees from Scotland this month.

A large selection of Fraser and Nordmann Fir trees will available at the National Trust manor house.

All the proceeds will fund future conservation projects at East Riddlesden Hall such as making repairs to the Jacobean plaster ceilings.

The trees are sustainably sourced from near Inverness and vary in height between 4ft and 9ft. Prices start at £30.

The Nordmann fir is the most popular choice of Christmas tree in the UK, and he said to be the best choice for young children and inquisitive pets thanks to its glossy green colour and big, non-drop soft needles.

The Fraser fir is a slimmer tree and ideal for smaller spaces. There will also be Christmas tree stands and traditional Christmas wreaths on sale.

Christmas trees will be available to buy between 9am and 3.30pm on December 1, 2, 8 and 9.

Call 01535 607075 or email eastriddlesden@nationaltrust.org.uk for further information.

East Riddlesden Hall will also host an indoor Christmas market on December 8 and 9, when the rustic Airedale Barn will be filled by fairy lights that trace the oak beams. Tickets are £3 per person.
