A KEIGHLEY event will focus on ending violence against women and girls.
Change the World: Leave No One Behind will feature speaker Fiona Broadfoot, who was trafficked and sexually exploited.
She founded the Build a Girl project, which provides a safe environment for girls and young women and helps build their aspirations and self-esteem.
The event – at Central Hall next Tuesday (Nov 27), from 9.30am to 12.30pm – will also include information about the Creative Butterfly Project, a group for women recovering from an abusive relationship.
Food and drinks will be served.
Women can just turn-up on the day, but are asked if possible to register beforehand – for catering purposes – at eventbrite.co.uk/e/womens-event-change-the-world-tickets-51504595632.
Jo Horrox – of the e5 project – who has planned the day with community group Women of Keighley, said: "Change the World: Leave No One Behind is a free event.
"Donations towards food are welcome, but not essential.
"Due to the adult content of some of the event, we suggest it is not suitable for children."
