AN annual charity night raised just over £4,000 for Manorlands.

The event was the latest staged by the Bronte Vintage Gathering (BVG) Group.

Attractions included cake, bottle and surprise parcel stalls, a quiz, raffle and auction.

There was also a pie and peas supper.

Delighted BVG team member Trish Wood pays tribute to everyone who supported the event, at Keighley Rugby Union Football Club.

"It was a great night and the amount raised was tremendous," she said.

"I'd like to say a big thank-you to all who donated, helped out on the evening or came along to give their support."

Over the years, the BVG group has raised more than £400,000 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.

Its other events include the Bronte Vintage Gathering itself, which next year takes place on May 11 and 12 and celebrates its 21st anniversary, and harness racing in the summer.
