THE STORY of Jesus’s birth had a Western twist in this year’s Nativity play at Long Lee Primary School.
The key stage one children and staff worked hard to perform their show before the end of term.
Prickly Hay tells the festive story from the point of view of a stable hand called Sam, and his friend Shrew, who help prepare the stable for Jesus’ arrival.
School spokesman Karen Holmes said: “We would like to take this time to thank all the parents and carers for coming to watch, and helping with costumes at this festive time. Yee Haw!”
