STAFF and residents at a Cross Hills nursing home raised an 'elfy' amount for good causes.
An Elf Day at Beanlands coined-in more than £800.
Part of the proceeds are being donated to the Alzheimer’s Society, while the remainder will boost the residents' fund.
Attractions at the event included stalls, a tombola, raffle, games and refreshments.
Staff made a donation to dress as elves for the day.
Michelle Sykes – activities co-ordinator at the home, run by Czajka Care Group – organised the event, with help from registered manager Janet Fryer and deputy manager Denise Jackson.
Denise said: "When we tally-up the raffle ticket sales we are hoping to add to the money raised for the residents' fund, which helps pay for a wide range of days out and events, and the fantastic Alzheimer's Society charity.
"Everyone worked hard to make the event a success and I am very proud of the whole team."
